Hello every 1

First I want to thank UBCD4WIN team for this great tool, it helps me so much and save time.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this! Anyway

I customize my UBCD4WIN bootcd to installing it on a Flash Drive later, but when I want to Enable Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool's plugin I got error "Server Not Found" or something like this.

To fix this:

1- Go to UBCD4WIN's directory -> plugin -> AntiVirus -> KavVRT

2- Open "get_update.bat" with any text editor

3- Change line 9

SET GETFILE=ftp://dnl-eu10.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/AVPTool/*.exe

With this

SET GETFILE=ftp://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/AVPTool/*.exe

4- Save changes and close "get_update.bat".

5- Go back to UBCD4WIN PE Builder, Choose Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool's plugin, Hit Config again and wait till download the last version of AVP tool.

6- Continue customize your UBCD4WIN, and Build it as usual.

I hope this fix will be in the next version.

Good luck 2 all

If Kaspersky changes the URL there is nothing we can do about that... the user must then edit the line you mentioned. This is the second time they have done this that I am aware of.

The correct word isn't "fix" its "update" since it worked originally nothing was broken until the URL was changed.
Plan A is always more effective when the device you are working on understands that Plan B involves either a large hammer or screwdriver....

Sorry for that, as you know I'm new with this stuff.
And yes, it should be "update" not "fix", but I can't edit the post to correct it so feel free to do that.

Have a nice day.
