I would like some information on creating additional plugins. The only things i've been able to find in the forums is to read the help file and look at the current plugins as examples. What help file? I've looked through this site and cannot find one. Maybe someone can give me a breakdown of what is needed from the program (that i want to add) and where to insert in (in the plugins).

If you read the posts that mention reading the help files closer, you would have noticed they also say that they are in the [UBCD4Win]\help\[your language] folder itself... ie they are installed with the program

Several thousand plugins have been created by others, perhaps telling us what program you need would be a good first step.

Some plugins require less then 10 lines and one executable file, others require up to several thousand lines of code and months or even years to produce, leaving the third group that simply will never work in a PE environment.

One of the programs i would like to use as a plugin is Iobit 360. Also, i noticed that an older version of UBCD4win included AVG software. Do you know the reason for removing this program? I use it on my home machines and think it is a very good program. Also, where can i locate this list of plugins?

AVG had to be removed for technical reasons that happened after a major program update which "broke" the plugin from working properly ( license errors which were also seen on normal Windows installations as well ).

IOBit's past reputation has been pretty good but you may want to reconsider this one... There are now a lot of rumors about this company on the internet that currently make many question their integrity and have yet to be fully substantiated but should still be considered. Claims of them using Malwarebyte's Antimalware's malware database and another concerning them either giving away a 90 day trial of AVG without proper permission or claiming they are giving it away when in fact they were not are some of what is being talked about now. I'm not one much for "conspiracy theories", but these claims do seem to have some weight to them and can't be ignored completely either.

Plugins for utils such as these are probably not the best area's to start learning with. I know the AVG plugin took several months to develop and was rather complex ( and that was with AVG Technolgies actually assisting with the plugin ). I'd suggest looking at simpler types of utils to begin with and work your way up to these more advanced ones after you have a feel for making plugins first.

Any idea when Kaspersky 2010 will be supported in the build. Info on this would be appreciated.
