I'm using UBCD4WIN since a long time.

I use UBCD4WIN in many many different Hardware, because I have and need only one Image per OS.
This Image will made to work on every Hardware.

Till 3.50 everything works as i want.

Since 3.60 with Driverpaks i have allways trouble in Computer with Adaptec Raid Controllers.
For example 2420, 2820, 3405, 5805, 5405 and now with 6405.

Everytime the same:
Starting hangs during the frist XP Screen and nothing more goes on.

Other Raidcontrollers like ICH9 or ICH10 works without Problems.

With 3.50 it works, 3.60 hangs!

So, at the time i have to work with 2 different UBCD4WIN versions 3.50 for Adaptec and 3.60 for all others

Is there anybody who can help me how to kill this Problem?

Update the DriverPacks to the latest version as mentioned before many times on the forum

If that doesn't work... you can use the DP from the earlier version of UBCD4Win but then you won't have support for the latter hardware that was added to the DP later.

Believe me, that i tried both for many times.
The Last try was with Masstorage-Driverpack 12.03
I go back till a Version 8.xx
It doesn't help.

Then the issue needs to be reported back to DriverPacks.net in their forum so they can address it if there is a problem...

Before you do... make certain that you did use the latest DP base... the older versions do not work with the newer DP driverpacks

Yes, I have the lastest and earlier Versions

The last try was with DpBase 10.06.
no Success!

Presently i'm playing with UBCD 3.50.
I tried many crazy things. This evening i copy Driverpack LAN and MAsstorage.inf to UBCD4WIN\Drivers.
Result: Not so successfull as i want to have.

The main Problems with 3.50 are old and small Systems with only CDROM Drives.
The Image of 3.50 needs a DVD.

But actually i will went to the drivepack.net Forum and tell there my Probs.
Not now, but tomorrow evening. It's late enough here!

Actually... it's more unbelievably lucky of when you posted than how quickly I reply... lol

I only can visit the forum occasionally when I'm not busy at work or doing something at the house etc... The timing was just lucky for a lot of it... but still thanks for the compliment anyway.

i am actually having the same issue personally.

Adaptec drivers on XP based UBCD4Win for a Dell Cerc SATA 2 controller.

I wonder if it works at 2K3 source... have to test later, machine is on CP.
