Actually, the page does say a few strange things. It does state that "Complaints have been received" and it also complains that Rapid Share's disk space is "full"????
So my guess is as good as yours as to what the REAL reason is.

Since editing posts on this board are disabled after a short period, I'm unable to merely substitute the links - here are some new ones:
note: As a "premium member" my links never expire - they can only be deleted by me or if someone complains. I did not delete the original links. I just noticed nearly all my plugins were deleted. I'll re-up the others when the mood hits.

The link I tested was in post #18 here http://ubcd4win.com/...p...ost&p=13640
That is the one that stated it was removed since it had been too long since it was downloaded.

I see, I had used the one the poster "quoted." Silly multiple links, almost makes me go into a tirade like Digi did in post #17.

Just a short FYI:
Rapidshare is undergoing a metamorphosis - migrating from .de to .com... under the umbrella of being 2 different companies... while this may technically be true, it is similar to Pontiac/Buick/Chevrolet are "different" companies. They have a very close relationship (sharing engines and other major components...) - so too with the old/new Rapidshare - the .de domain was excluded from using Google Adsense, while the .com has not been excluded. So the migration from .de to .com, while a little confusing for most of us, as we did not receive emails about the change, will, in the end, operate much as it previously had. I'm currently in the process of moving all my files from .de to .com. Then we'll be totally back to normal.
